I spent thirteen months living in apartment five then moved across the hall to apartment seven. I heard sevens a lucky number. I spend the majority of my time inside this building. I’ve had a lot of terrible things happen. I thought I’d be ok but lately I’m dwelling on the past. I feel like times just going to repeat itself.

Brennan and I have been friends since 10th grade. He took me on my first date and I was the first girl he ever kissed. Seven years later we talk like nothings changed. Everything, however, has changed. We’re all growing up and some of us are growing apart. I might be just falling apart. He believes (or at least leads me to believe) that I’ll make something of myself someday.
